this week's etsy find is the euphemistically named baby booty line snotnose. one look at the adorable onesies and bibs emblazoned with playful felt appliqués and my first thought was how it would be the most talked about shower gift for irreverent babes and the parents who love them.

hali, the kaneohe girl and inspired mind behind the recently launched line, finds time to sew while her recently arrived little one (and muse) enjoys naptime. both new and, to keep it green, gently worn onesies as well as assorted baby accessories are the backdrops for hali's impish designs sure to delight the cookie monster set.

1 - what appears to be a vintage find is really ever's modern day nod to old school style (perhaps for sunning at queen's beach?).

4 - it's no surprise that maui ripper's hawaiian ali'i board shorts (shown above) caught my fella's eye with its colorful polynesian tatau pattern. the paia company specializes in board shorts tough enough for island lifeguards and is one to bookmark if you have been hunting for larger sizes (they stock shorts up to size 44).

how charming is this ceramic pineapple candle from bath & body works recently spotted in lucky? considering the pineapple is the symbol of hospitality and it features a fruity pineapple mango fragrance evocative of the islands i think it scores as a fun hostess gift.

once the final flicker has extinguished, it can be refilled with your favorite candle or, with a little crafty reuse, the pineapple can enjoy a second life as a lovely catchall to hide coins, cotton balls, or all the other odds and ends that never seem to find a good home.
