this popped in my mailbox yesterday and i couldn't resist sharing a few sweet finds from moopiland. two words came to mind when i visited the website: so cute! moopiland is literally a mom & pop company homegrown in hawaii after the birth of the owners' little girl (who lended her nickname to the family biz).

upon the arrival of their little one, owners keiko and arne started to make clothing for their daughter which soon caught the attention of other parents. and so moopiland was born. innocent creatures from kittens to pandas mix with happy patterns which pepper all the handmade offerings created in moopiland. everything is adorable and the keiki dresses are custom made to order in sizes 2T to 6T.

and, grownups can join in on the fun with a handful of kawaii designs made just for them.

• speaking of the tax man, there is still time to become friends with its deductible. my guess is you may be underestimating the value of all those castoffs dropped off at goodwill, and this has been my little helper to tally up charitable donations for the past few years. the potential tax savings definitely add up and i am happy to report that it is now free!

baby loves disco

baby loves disco has finally arrived in the islands and is hosting their inaugural event at the o lounge on saturday! the brilliant idea started in philadelphia back in 2004 as a way for parents to escape the house and hit the club with their little ones and now hosts daytime dance parties in 27 cities and 6 countries.

thanks to one enterprising mom, you get to hang with grown ups while getting down on the dance floor with your keiki. the price of admission includes a dj spinning tunes, bubbles, a chill out space plus snacks and a diaper changing station. all ages are welcome but, while your kids won't be carded, keep in mind that baby loves disco is structured for keiki between 6 months to 7 years.
